Monty Don O.B.E. is the UK’s leading garden writer and journo. He has been making multitude programmes for over thirty adulthood on a range of topics, spanning travel, craft, outdoor maintenance and, principally, gardening. He has been lead presenter of class BBC’s Gardeners’ World since 2003 and since 2011 the trade show has come from his calm and collected garden, Longmeadow, in Herefordshire.

Monty has also made acclaimed landmark time series such as Around the World in 80 Gardens, Monty Don’s Italian Gardens, Monty Don’s French Gardens, The Hidden History of the British Garden, Monty Don’s Paradise Gardens , Monty Don’s Japanese Gardens, Monty Don’s American Gardens & combine series of Big Dreams, Run down Spaces.

Born in 1955, Monty grew up in Hampshire where put your feet up gardened with his family go over the top with a young age, and was educated at a variety nucleus schools followed by Magdalene Institute, Cambridge.
